One of the first things I was looking forward to, was replacing the front plate bracket with a solid piece without license plate provision. I understand that not having a front license plate is illegal in Washington, however, you can’t deny what it does for the front end of the car. I’ve also been fortunate enough to never have had any issues with this, in the several years I’ve driven without one. Here’s to hoping this trend continues.
I went with a gray colored piece as it matches the car better than black and it’s more consistent with the rest of the trim pieces. Currently, the only black trim pieces on the car are the fog light grills; everything else is a certain shade of gray or silver, which begs the question… why would Audi do this? Even the Titanium Package which consists of a black front grill and black window trim leaves the rear diffuser a gray piece. It’s almost impossible to have all pieces match and be consistent throughout.
The hunt begins for gray fog light grills, I suppose. In the meantime, the front end of the car cleaned up nicely with this accessory.
